25 years of product equity, finally marketed like it.
A creator-first storefront and a Meta engine led by maker UGC for the brand that invented the category, built to put 25+ years of product authority in front of the right buyer.
NuFun Activities is a Minnesota-based, 100% woman-owned crafting brand founded in 1996 by Jodi Schwendimann, the inventor of the original Digital Transfer Paper. From a parent-invented Mess Free Paper to a deep range of printable iron-on transfer papers for t-shirts, wood, chalkboard and dry-erase surfaces, NuFun's products are manufactured in-house at their own Minnesota factory and sold direct, through Amazon, and through craft retail. Decades of category expertise, non-toxic formulations, and a founder who still runs the lab.
- Founded 1996 by Jodi Schwendimann
- 100% woman-owned; in-house Minnesota factory
- Inventor of the original Digital Transfer Paper
- Non-toxic, USA-made for 25+ years
The brief
NuFun didn't enter the category; it started it. Jodi Schwendimann holds the original Digital Transfer Paper patent and has run the lab since 1996. But three decades of product authority weren't showing up in how the brand sold online. The catalog was deep and the formulations genuinely better (non-toxic, made in their own Minnesota factory), yet the storefront and ads read like a generic craft supplier instead of the company that invented the product.
Our work
We rebuilt the storefront around the products people actually search for, and stood up a Meta program led by creator UGC, because transfer paper is a show-don't-tell product. Real makers pressing real designs onto shirts, wood, and chalkboard outperform any studio shot, so the creative library is built from the crafting community itself. Amazon and DTC are run as one demand system rather than two channels competing for the same buyer.
Why it works
A 25-year-old brand owns something no competitor can buy: trust, reviews, and a founder who still answers the technical questions herself. The job isn't to manufacture credibility; it's to put it in front of the right maker at the moment they're choosing between papers. Decades of category equity, finally compounding instead of sitting idle.
